Readings at the Eucharist

At times where the lectionary selects some verses in a sequence and omits other verses within that sequence, the lector is warned by linking the first and last verses in the sequence with .... rather than -. (The - is used when the verses are specifically those named.) Once the lector goes to the lectionary, all should be well as they read what is front of them. Page refers to the page number in the lectionary.
 
RED means that we have incense at this eucharist.

A note on the readings sequence:

• The holy gospel during 2004 is usually from S Luke’s gospel, with supplementary material from S John’s gospel;
  
• the 1^st lection (usually from the Jewish scriptures) prefigures or enhances the message in the gospel;
  
• the 2^nd lection is from the secondary New Testament writings.
